AgentRick Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 I was brickshelf, and I saw this very neat model Can anyone tell me which set they came in? They appear to be used in the RC passenger train, but I think it's a custom. Any help? :-/ Quote
Starwars4J Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 If you mean the model then yes, it's a MOC. That ring structure at the top has never been used in an official model. Quote
AgentRick Posted December 28, 2007 Author Posted December 28, 2007 Actually, I was talking about the silver pieces with the Octan logo. Sorry for being not so informative. :-$ Quote
LBaixinho Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Is from a set from the 4 Juniors theme: Link Quote
Starwars4J Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Well chrome is really, really hard to customize. It's an expensive process, so I doubt it was custom, however I can't find any part like this on BL so I guess it would have to be *wacko* edit: I guess I didn't search hard enough :-D Quote
AgentRick Posted December 28, 2007 Author Posted December 28, 2007 Thanks, I might get the parts off of bricklink if I find the time, or just buy the set in general. The mods can close this if they feel like it. Quote
Brickmaster Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 I have that set aswell, and immediately recognized, I bought for that very purpose, but the chrome peices use I have exhausted. Theyre pretty nifty, but dislike the yellow that makes it hard to incorperate. Quote
Siegfried Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 The 4-Juniors line did have some good pieces in them. Shame almost all the models were lame. :-/ Good find! *sweet* Quote
Johnny 5 Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 yeah I hated the big minifigs :-X and I always get angry about the fact they got pirates and we didn't But I need to get those pieces I love chrome Lego thats for sure ;-) Quote
Siegfried Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 yeah I hated the big minifigs :-X Well I tend to not insult those as they were intended to be a step between the Duplo men and the mini-figures. From a design point of view I think they were a success. If Lego made the sets look better the line may have even worked. For example, the set that those pieces come from... :-X The trailer is OK but the truck itself?! *wacko* Horrid, just plain horrid. Quote
iamded Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Great use of the stickers, that's for sure. I want that warning sign. X-D ~Peace Quote
Siegfried Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Great use of the stickers, that's for sure. What stickers? I thought they were printed? Quote
MatthewUSA Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 I think Sinner is correct. The "flame" piece is from one of the "Spaceport" sets, I think. I am sure I have seen this piece from there. I just looked through a catalog from 2000. I found this piece in set # 6455. This is the Space Simulation Station. Model On!! Quote
