JJ2 Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Hello This is my model of the Lockheed Martin's F-22 Raptor. IMG_0602 by JJ2Sam, on Flickr For those who don't know the F-22 Raptor is a U.S. stealth fighter airplane capable of super-sonic flight and a top speed of 1,498 mph or 2410kph, you can read more on the wiki, When I built this I tried hard to achieve the strait lines of the aircraft but that proved a challenge with the mainly curved Technic panels so I opted to use a mix of studless and studfull design accomplishing most of the recognizable of the jet. I started building the nose to get a retaliative of the scale since I was not using blueprints, I worked my way back to the fuselage of the airplane and started work on the wings which was the hardest part to build because of the angles on the back of the wing, and then the top of the airplane using studded parts. Myers Lego Technic Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Very nice! You captures the lines well. My only complaint is the gap in the wings. Overall though it is very well done. You don't see many models in this forum to this small scale. Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Very cool mixture of both System and Technic...well done! Quote
