Hi, guys:

Name's Mun and I am new to this forum. Thought it would be great to introduce my self and post my very 1st technic creation.

The suspension bogie is copied from "Nico 71" and everything else is my very 1st attempt :P

Any suggestion or comment will be appreciated. Thanks !

[updates:]

Haven't started working on my transmission yet since I am experiencing some delay with my orders. However I do have some updates for you : P

I will let the video do the talking.

Some thoughts:

1. Will switch to a lighter colour (probably light green) at the end of this project since there're still a lot things need to be changed.

2. Will use this as a platform and build all different kinds of mechanisms on the rear "cargo module".

Welcome to Eurobricks! What I would do is add a crane in that empty space, because a gearbox on a tracked vehicle is very difficult. But well done, MUCH better than my first Technic MOC.

Thanks !. I was thinking about two identical ones for each motor. May be I can redesign the drive train by using a subtractor. In that case one gearbox would do the job.

Welcome to Eurobricks! :classic:

Looks really good, maybe you can fit a crane on it as well

Challenge accepted, but first, I wanna squeeze a transmission into it

Impressive for a first MOC!

Remember that Arctic MOCs are usually bright colors, not white, because they would get lost in the snow otherwise. However, unless you want to get a lot of new parts, this is not avoidable.

Easy improvement- tuck the cables down so they're out of sight.

You are talking subtractors already, this is a good sign!

I would build the IR receiver with bricks around it so that it looks like an emergency equipment box and is not as ugly, just make sure you don't cover the top and you will be fine.

A compact crane would be cool, check out the Unimog improvements thread, new things for you to consider, such as different attachments.

I would get another row of those white Technic panels + a few vertical white 5L beams to balance out the looks.

Pull off that random 3L blue pin with friction just above the battery pack on the left side, it doesn't do anything and makes it look uglier.

You can put half pins + tiles on top of the doors and hood technic panels to smooth out the look.

Overall very good job

WOW! For a first, this is amazing! If I were you I would skip the subtractor, other than the experience gained from building them they don't help much. the crane idea sounds cool, but if you want to stay simple, just adding more bodywork is always the way I go. either way great job, and welcome aboard!

Welcome to EB indeed, that as a starter! Very well executed IMHO

What I would suggest is adding functions to it... You have a very cool body/undercarriage and now by adding something to it you are challenged again...! :classic:

That's actually a really good point. I will finish the body and other work with what I currently have now and in the end of this project, probably switch to light green.

Body work is finished, will use this body as a platform and add functions to it ! Achievement will be unlocked soon

platform is finished, rest of this project will be adding different functions to the function module (currently it is a cargo module). Thankyou for the suggestions !
