[HELP] Building a Harbour Crane

I want to build a crane. The weight of the crane is supported from four tire but the movement is created from two motors with the Technic Gear Rack 1 x 4.

In your opinion, What the best tire i should to use?

You should use the ones which are circular... im just kidding , it all depends of the crane size, how big is it or it should be?

I tried two solutions but the result is terrible.

The first solution was Tire 43.2 x 14 but the tire is too great.

The second was Wheel 18mm D.x 14mm with Axle Hole but I don't find the right relationship with the technic structure and the technic gear rack 1 x 4.

For me it is enough information to start, maybe you could use these if you have them: http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=4185c01#T=C good thing about them is that they are very narrow and has a cross axle hole, so they are easy to be powered and dont need too much space.

forget the tyres and use rails instead
