8416...is it worth getting?

i have been looking over the parts list for this set, it has some quite rare parts....but thankfully i finally got almost everything i needed to build it. though i have several other sets that i want to build/part out over this one. should i go for it?....any review of this or thoughts from those who have it?

i do admit that forklits are very rare in technic sets, in fact i dont belive i have a single forklift!. just my spares are limited right now and i dont want to deplete my inventory.....

Glancing at average selling prices, wow this set has held its value really well. IMO I was never a fan of it.

8416 is a fantastic model. Best forklift in the Technic series. Highly recommended.

8416 is great. Only bettered in my mind by 850, though that is more nostalgia than objectivity on my part

I own it and it's really a good set.

Playability is excellent and the look is really nice.

It only lacks advanced functions and contraptions (the only two mechanical functions are steering and telescopic fork lifting, plus manual fork tilting), but the telescopic cable forklifting and the cool look make it a permanent presence on my shelf!
