As far as the Creature heads go, I like them. The fact that they share the same face mold creates a uniformity/team look like the protectors. The extra connection points are also a smart way of making the heads look slightly different from one another. My only complaint would be the the colors, why metallic? It only works with half the Toa.

I would've rather had the 3 smaller Toa with silver masks.

I like the metallic heads, they look like they have helmets. Again reminds me of Digimon.

and in general I'm not sure that I can get behind them all having one shared mask again. It worked to an extent with the protectors, but now it really looks off. A fish, scorpion, insect, mole/bear/thing, and a phoenix should really have some very different faces. Of the 6, I think the only one where the mask looks entirely great on is the Phoenix.

I certainly have to agree. If you'd consider Terak to be a kind of terrestrial bat, then the mask for him is an ideal fit, but I completely agree that this doesn't work with the other creatures. I stand by my earlier made point, I think that 3 different heads would have been better option. An insect like face for the stone/jungle; a kind of bear/mole face for earth/ice and a kind of uniform face for water/fire. I believe that could have worked much better, and would have allowed for a bigger diversity.

When the sets are released and we have a good, clear, in-hand view of the Creature head, there needs to be a poll asking which Creature does the head look best on. Considering the head doesn't appear to look like any specific animal, I'd really like to see what people's opinions are.

I agree with most people about the heads. They really seem to fit Terak and Ikir well....I can even somewhat say Uxar's isn't too bad...but the rest they just look odd. Especially Ketar. I was really looking forward to getting another Pohatu, considering how impressed I was by the '15 version...but his creature is so...lacking in different ways...that it's hard for me (considering my budget) to forego sets like Tahu and Onua, or even Lewa, whose creatures are actually pretty decent and would be good to get along with the figures themselves. I'm a bit disappointed with Pohatu too though....I really was liking the stone characters, PoS is one of my favourite protectors, Pohatu was an awesome first buy....now Ketar looks all over the place, Pohatu's asymmetry is gone and is replaced by...possibly something a little odd looking (again, need clearer pics) but I'm most disappointed with Pohatu's weapon. When I first saw the leaks, I thought they gave Pohatu two stones with chains that you could flail around like morning stars. I loved that....then I find out it's a flail..and a spear? Eh. Maybe I'd get him and change the weapon. :S

I think that the Creature heads looks like some sort of bird.

Pohatu's weapon don't bother me much, because I can still get what his weapons are suppose to present. It suppose to been a spear that has a swinging mace connected to a chain at the another end of the spear. The creatures itself looks good, but I don't like that they use the similar head design, especially on Terak and Melum. The thing that bother me the most in the 2016 Winter wave sets is the colours of the Toa's.I think Tahu has too much gold on him and the orange on Gali don't look right for me.

From the leak pictures, I think the Toa's won't have a Adrenaline modes like this year.

'Adrenaline Modes' are the way that the Master's weapons where able to transform into a form of transportation, like how Kopaka's shield became skis. As of right now there is no apparent way the Uniter's weapons can become forms of transport. We don't have an official name yet for what the combinations between the Uniters and the Creatures are. I, personally, have been calling them 'Unities' or '[Toa]'s Unity'. They are more analogous to the 'Powered Up Modes' where the Masters received the Protector's weapons.

Edit: Tahu and Lewa's Unities are them with wings, Kopaka and Onua's are them with enhanced shoulderpads, Gali gains fins, and Pohatu gains a stinger tail. That seems to be about it.

Some of them seem to have weapons that part into two, this is pretty clear on Tahu, Pohatu gets flail and sword, Gali might be able take her staff apart too to have hook chain on the other hand and... the sword with spiky propeller on the other.

Yes, but that's barely a Adrenaline mode in my eyes.

I don't get how the Creatures' heads work. Where are their eyes on the psoter? On Tahu+Ikir I don't see them, and the other 5 Creatures below don't seem to have them either.

I guess the final sets do have them, but I can't tell if they use Barraki style eyes or there's a new transparent eyestalk under the head piece.

One idea that I have is to use a connection similar to the Barraki eyes, but a lightsaber bar straddling the width of the head. Not only could it use one part for both eyes that is already in production and plentiful, it would give the Creatures (cute) beady eyes and give them somewhere to clip onto the Toa's heads. This part is already available in all the trans-elemental colors.

I wouldn't be surprised if they used a similar connection scheme to the Barraki, where the eyes are held on the underside by clips. This same method was also used for Thornaxx's head so it isn't outside the realm of possibility.

Well there is confirmation that Umarak is possessed by Makuta. Also a torso-turning-arm swinging gimmick

I think that's a mistake in the translation...it's likely they all have the same function at the waist....unless Tahu and Kopaka are different..I tried searching the sets up and got nothing.

Also mentioned is that Umarak can "unite" with the creatures. Though I would had preferred if he had some sort of small minion that he could attach to in the 10 bucks range.

Is there a mention of Kopaka&Melum's price?

Can you send me the link to the set descriptions? They seem to not exist for me.

I can't find the Amazon.fr pages either. And that "posted" sounds dodgy to me, especially since translating it back to French doesn't suggest anything close to the idea of possessing someone.

Hah, I was right, Umarak can combine with the Creatures. And he can wear the MoCo afterall- it should've been obvious, but I couldn't (and still can't) see any spaces on its side for Umarak's antlers (unlike the obvious ones on the MoCr). Seems like the MoCo is just about mind control- powerful, sure, but it seems limited compared to the power of Creation.

And I like that the printed decorations are referred to as "runes".

"Turn the wheel on the chest to trigger arms."

Hmmm...

Well theres quite a few that are different:

Turn the wheel on the chest to trigger arms

Turn the wheel to rotate the torso and start whirling blade

Turn the wheel on the chest to trigger the weapon.

Turn the wheel to rotate the torso to a fast action game

I'm guessing it's all the same thing, but odd that they would word them all so different.y.
