Admiral_Wig Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Pffffff - You call that a missile train? :-| Check out this: Schwere Gustav featured: 800 mm caliber 37 km range 7 metric tonnes heavy shells Rate of fire: 14 rounds a day Velocity: 820 m/s Able to penetrate 7 meters of reinforced concrete Barrel length: 38 meters Had to operate on two railway tracks! X-D 1750 men required to set up, lay tracks, and operate Now THAT's a REAL gun!! >:-) THATS A GUN!!!!!!!! Doofus!! lol. I think you'll find a train lugging a multiple warhead nuclear missile around will be far better than a poxxy gun, powerful as it is. Its more limited with its firing too!!! I'm debating starting to build one but as at the moment the only train i have is one of the original battery train sets i'm gona be a bit stuck!!! Quote
AgentRick Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I was thinking of doing this for an entry in the City Police contest in the Lego magazine, but then i thought seriously. *wacko* Quote
Holodoc Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 *harrumph* Excuse me: My town for sure needs NOTHING of this war/army/nuke stuff! >:-( And I cannot understand what gives you the kick in this sort of themes... :-| The reality is lousy enough. I want a weapons free playing room! Maybe we should create another "war" subforum for that kind of ideas. It would help me save time reading all that crap! WAR OFF! Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 *harrumph*Excuse me: My town for sure needs NOTHING of this war/army/nuke stuff! >:-( And I cannot understand what gives you the kick in this sort of themes... :-| The reality is lousy enough. Hippie! :-P I agree, I don't really think military stuff belongs in town and trains forum. Perhaps a sub-forum would be a good idea? Quote
Hinckley Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 This is what the EN is for. I will move this thread to the EN thread. Quote
zouave Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I'd say the missile train would be a better choice. But, that giant gun looks awesome. Quote
Stealth Hunter Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Check out this: Now THAT's a REAL gun!! >:-) I think I need to build something like this for my city. ;-) I would post it next Saturday together with: V-22 Osprey rip off Different soldiers I use in my army maybe the scud launcher(I still haven Quote
Minifig Lecturer Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 *harrumph*Excuse me: My town for sure needs NOTHING of this war/army/nuke stuff! >:-( And I cannot understand what gives you the kick in this sort of themes... :-| The reality is lousy enough. I want a weapons free playing room! Maybe we should create another "war" subforum for that kind of ideas. It would help me save time reading all that crap! The EN is obviously based on the United Nations but the UN's charter is supposed to be about peace whereas the EN's charter is more akin to ethnic cleansing judging by the comments of members. As for military mocs in general, I have nothing against toy weapons (just real ones) and there should be a forum for unaffiliated military mocs separate to an EN thread. Quote
Stauder Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 The prime aim of membership of the EN is to enjoy yourself and to post pictures of your cool LEGO military vehicles. That is in the first post. Also if you are against building miniature and quite harmless army's then dont post in a topic about them, simple as that. :-/ Stauder Quote
Barbossa Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Dear EN Blohmton City will be happy to contribute in the Eurobricks Nation. Due to the niggardly Mayor the city is not in possession of high tech military equipment. Some might claim that the city is only going for secondhand and outdated WW2 equipment, but in the Mayor Barossa Quote

zouave Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Bricksville has just built a new bunker to protect it from sea attacks. It's not something too pleasant to the eye so there's no reason to take a pic. But, it does get the job done. Quote
