I know that Batbrick, but we cant post that entire image as our rank so if someone had all of the ranks on Brickshelf, then as we got promoted we could go and pickup our new rank, or are yall planing on giving us the link to the our current rank(maybe yall could make them really odd file names so that unless yall gave it to us we could have it)

Just so everyone knows, Dr. Sinister has put a lot of thought into how to run this venture in a fair manner. The rank system is new and it'll be implemented soon, so please just wait for the information. I don't think any more advice or help is needed when it comes to the EN rank system. Feel free to give any other ideas or suggestion about other aspects of this and continue to have fun. Remember, the EN is mainly about having a good time discussing, sharing tips and MOCs, and building military creations in LEGO. Let's keep that the focus and not worry about the fun extras. Let them be an added bonus and surprise. That will make it much more fun. Thanks everybody! :-)

i agree, hinkley. u come off quite rude sometimes. he didnt make any threats or name calling and u said its not gunna fly. i can see if he called u an egg dispenser or worse but he was being helpful. whatever, ur the mod...not myself so its ur call and we will stand behind it.

i think the ranks are a joke. if this is supposed to be a gathering of forces from different lego regions then each person should be in charge of thier own crew. perhaps assigning special ranks to certain individuals who have a more specialized group (like myself (not saying i do or dont)) of special forces then maybe give them a title but everyone should be in charge of thier own. no presidents of anything or head generals overall. kinda like the real UN, everyone talks about what needs to be done and votes before taking action.

I must say.. what would the point of an official uniform be? The way I see it, an "official uniform of the EN" would kinda defeat the purpose of the EN, since making military MOCs can be just as much about making uniforms for your troops as building vehicles for them. :-)

Well, thank you. It's nice to know you're behind me. However I've asked several times for the ranks thing to be left alone and left to Dr. Sinister and it's rude to keep on about it after an admin/mod has asked nicely several times. I understand it may seem harsh, but you can't just do whatever you want and disregard requests from staff.

Speaking of which, Optikal, I appreciate the enthusiasm here, but calling Dr. Sinister's work a joke is not cool at all. I've been through three threads on this and we've decided to let Dr. Sinister handle it. The ranks are in his hand and there's no more discussing it, please. I've requested this more than enough to have made it clear by this point. If you want to continue in the EN, post about military building and leave the ranks issue alone-this is my final request on the matter.

And you're quite childish. I refuse to be a part of EN because of stuff like this. Everyone just wants some control and power and it just all leads to chaos. If you want discpline instilled in your armies then first you have to accept some. I thought we were all out here to just have some fun, showing off our military stuff? But...I guess not entirely.

Re' uniforms - does the UN have a uniform? :-) No, aside from the blue beret thing, they don't - so I don't think we should restrict people's creativity by suggesting we have a standard uniform. Let's just go with what we each feel is suitable or cool.

On another issue, I see that this thread is kind of degenerating into another argument. That's kind of sad, and depressing. I only ever suggested this as a new way of having some fun, I really don't want any part of it if it's going to be squabbling and arguing all the time, I get enough of that at work and with my children. :-( It was stuff like this that nearly caused me to walk away in the first place.

Please, everyone, let's just enjoy ourselves. If ranks are going to cause this kind of hassle, then forget it, we'll turn the EN into a loose collection of MOCs and armies and everyone can be in charge of their own thing.

didnt mean to knock ur work on the ranks, but i was just stating my opinion. it seems like this idea is going to be ran like the real UN (but better :-P ) and i thought it seemed better to have each handle thier own forces.

Good idea with the ranking, Dr S.! I think I'll just keep MOCing, and if a particular MOC seems realistic enough, I'll post it as part of the EN. But I don't really want to get too involved with ranks and all.

As it turns out, there was no need to Bomb the city after all. Mayor M'aiq reports that a Android on board the ship That was sanctioned by him a while ago, ADAM, which uses the same regeneration the mayor uses (Should either of them die, they will be revived on the spot), was as it turned out, on standby for activation. And at precisely 3:00 AM Dec. 24, The best-Lockian Prescense in Albrickuerque was gone. Repairs to the city have begun and it is presumed 25% of the city is dead. As the Best-Lockians evacuated, Mayor M'aiq fired the Megaton bomb that was to be used to purge the city at their Escaping armies, Obliterating all but 10 of their troops. They are currently in detainment. it was a heartfelt reunion To the survivors, who are currently rendevouzing with surviving family and friends. Damage estimates are well into the 1,000,000$ range, With whole acres of land in the city having been put ablaze in the invasion by the best-Lockians. Just like a phoenix, albrickuerque is slowly, but surely rising from the ashes.

You can see what the Blue Beret looks like in this picture from Wikipedia. So you get one by being part of a UN peacekeeping force. ;-)

I suppose you perhaps was talking about a LEGO beret, which I'm pretty sure doesn't exist :-( I really want one as well. But I'm enough of a purist not to want to deal with making berets myself..

As for the uniforms, my current plan is to use Naboo fighter pilot torsos, even though they are expensive :-( (guess I'll have to be satisfied with a rather small army..).

Everything is fine in Bricksville for now. However, it is believed that megablock command-op forces are forming in the nearby lego fields. A dispatch of 4-new lego IJ soldiers will be dispatched to check in on this.

Unfortunatly, the new soldiers expenses have taken away from the towns Cafe Corner fund. :-(

Our newly-Rebuilt city Now has Evidence of the Best-lockian's war crimes. They have invaded our territory, slaughtered our people and decimated our land (all of which violate a previously set treaty.) And i am headed on a Train to World City, Denmark to report these crimes. Until then,

The troops went out and found a horrible sight. The megablocks united with some best-locks. They were building a large best lock ship. After firing a few shots the troops had to retreat. The megablocks are well armed. Even more scary: there is a megablock jet,helicoptor, and another jet waiting to be assembled. X-O

Bad news: the megablocks came in before defenses could be put up. Everything except the fire station and the gas station got captured. Plans to recapture the city are underway. A large assualt of every vechicle that can be found will be used in a large hit and run. The biggest problem will be getting the enemy out of Market Street due to it's height. :-/

My town is practicly lost the police station and the rumaged fort are all thats left the police are holding off but for how long is unknown but we did get new commandos today (aka dino attack guys from bricklink)
