doug72 Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Lego now allow PayPal to purchase parts - just used it to get some new M motors now that they are back in stock. Quote
allanp Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Yup, bought some parts recently using it. Much better! Quote
Immo Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 For Polish user PayPal is a pain in the... lower back. Especially now when they want to violate your bank account's security when you want to add some money to your PP account. It's Visa for me. Quote
ToukoJapani Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Where did you find that PayPal? I don't find it. This is only what I got: http://shop.lego.com/en-FI/Payment-Methods;jsessionid=1940F95D365A949991D245FBB7D6A71C.lego-ps14 Quote
jono rocky Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Did you have to pay any paypal fees? Here in Australia I can only use credit or Mastercard so I guess each country gets different payment methods.. Quote
ToukoJapani Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 I guess each country gets different payment methods.. It's so wrong. Everyone should have the same options. Quote
doug72 Posted May 26, 2016 Author Posted May 26, 2016 Works OK in the UK and no fees are payable by the buyer. Sellers pay any PayPal fees. You can also set it so that payment is not taken from your bank a/c by PayPal until the goods are received. Quote
dr_spock Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Seller pays the Paypal fees. The merchant processing fees for Paypal are higher than credit card processing fees. I guess we could see a price increase in LEGO if Paypal becomes a very popular payment option for LEGO. Somebody has to pay for the convenience. It is easier to pass the cost to everyone than have different pricing based on payment method. Although some Chinese food places give you discount if you pay with cash. Quote
