Glad they still gave IG-88 a sniper. It's great were getting 4-Lom, but I just don't understand why they didn't include Zuckuss. I mean lets be honest, when will he actually show up in another set. Yes, they can't even say anything about the snow speeder yet (can't say or don't know, not sure) and that is going to be released within 2 months. Generally they don't seem to get much info at all at before hand or at least not be allowed to tell. In end of september, just like 2 days before force friday, I asked them to confirm the promo figure and the 3x VIP points, but they couldn't. Quote

Actually, I've been watching The Clone Wars and I don't care at all about The Freemaker Adventures, and I'm not enough of a Dengar fan to spend $30 on a set just for him, so I'm glad he's in the battle pack. I second that! I also wasn't interested in that 30$ so Battlepack is a welcome addition for me. Quote

Whether or not it's "likely" however, is purely speculation at this point. Anyway, regarding the rumours of a UCS Millennium Falcon, if it does happen, I hope TLG has learnt the lesson that if you rereleae or remake something, at least make improvements on the original, or face bad PR, bad sales and disappointed customers. If this is referring to the Death Star, I'm pretty sure the only people disappointed with it are the AFOLs. Remember that we're not the target market for LEGO, and the AFOL community alone cannot support LEGO. It was a proven seller the way it was so there was no need to improve it beyond what they did. I don't either but you could always order him online. Where as now we have to wait for Lego to make a Zuckuss, which imo is going to be a long wait. Quote

RogueTwo Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 (edited) A propos of all this Bounty Hunter speculation, is anyone else concerned that the set may be delayed from its reported June 1 release date (particularly in North America)? Obviously, TLG has a pretty good instinct for staggering releases across regions so as to maximize profit, but even so, they seem notoriously bad at estimating quantity to meet demand. For example, several of the two-week-old sets in the United States are already backordered until April. That's just poor form, in my opinion. I don't mind waiting two extra months for the 2017 wave, but when that really turns into "two extra months PLUS whenever they come back in stock," that's kind of disappointing, especially considering the retailer exclusives. I don't mean to complain, or to open up an old can of worms, but my main point is this: With the second set of battle packs already delayed until June, and with the Bounty Hunter set potentially poised to be one of the most popular small sets of all time (at least among AFOLs, who are usually the ones responsible for making stuff go backordered/out of stock ), I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Bounty Hunter battle pack gets delayed until September or later, ESPECIALLY given that the final set wasn't even completed for ToyFair, just a mock-up of the box and minifigures. The BH BP will likely come out before the Episode Eight sets, seeing as how it'll use the Rouge One box art, unless that changes last minute. But yeah I agree with this post. It's silly that most sets are already out of stock especially since they waited so long. Reminds me of the Nintendo Switch stock issues at the moment. But I don't mind it as much as others, I live in a small area so sets are still around in good numbers which reminds me, I need to go buy the Landspeeder at Walmart. Quote

Robianco Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Just new designs or moulds that weren't ready. I'm sure the mould would have been the biggest block on showing them. Quote
will Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 (edited) There's better pictures of the new snowspeeder pilot on an auction on eBay. You don't get a good look at the arm printing but you can see it's there. Nice detail on the torso and legs (same as recent ones). Helmet printing looks a bit out of line. No pics of the set though. not sure if I'm allowed to post them, so just search. Edited March 5, 2017 by will Quote
Brickweiser Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but the Imperial Officer in the upcoming Advent Calendar is a new figure. The rank insignia for 4 red and blue pips, denoting General, similar to General Veers' rank insignia in ESB. Quote

I wonder whether the printing on the flak vest has been improved with an extra coat of white, like the one from the new (2014-) X-Wing pilot torso. The helmet printing doesn't look great, but I've seen worse on some minifigures I've bought. The arm printing looks promising, but as you said, it's difficult to tell for sure. Really, the only thing that truly bothers me is the overused smiley head, but I'm sadly, I'm pretty sure that's final, given how lazy TLG has been with that sort of thing. Quote

I'm really tired of seeing that smiley head, it's just so lame! When it came out for Dak I was okay, as Dak is the kind of young guy whom you can picture smiling like that. But every single rebel pilot since? Quote
