Has anyone ever tried modifying 10198 Tantive IV to make it look similar to this set? Could be a cheaper alternative if you're not too fussed about having a 'proper' 10019? I know they're different sized sets but if the 10198 got bigger engines and brick-built bridge it might work.

^^ according to the bricklink prices starting with ~290€, i don´t see a reason to buy the "2nd" best for a similar price. Never the less greebling of 10198 is nice, but there are some years and plenty of

new parts between them.

I finally got around to building and photographing my modified version of 10019. It's designed to resemble Ahsoka Tano's Corellian Corvette, as seen in Star Wars Rebels. Picture 2 shows the Ghost docking with "Fulcrum". The colour changes were made for two reasons 1) to reduce cost and 2) to make it a little more unique. I'm pretty happy with it, particularly the port and starboard turbolaser cannons which are more rounded than the ones on the original 10019. I've put Clone Wars Ahsoka for size comparison (I don't have the Rebels version of her yet) but the model is huge!
