Vorkosigan Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 The river gate was built to tax the merchants who traveled the river through the mountain and into the kingdom. All who pass must pay their tribute or end up imprisoned under the mountain. On the bottom left is the treasury. On the right are the dark cells for those who fail to pay or try to smuggle. Up above the tax is levied. Interior upper floor left - armory and small practice area. Connected to the interior of the mountain by a stairway. Interior bottom left - goods confiscated or accepted in lieu of gold. An entrance into the prison area of the mountain is guarded. Interior upper right - guards eat, drink, and relax after their shift. Interior bottom right - the guards' quarters. Quote
KotZ Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Great work! Neat concept you have there. The mountain looks pretty good. Are there any shots of the dungeon? Quote
Mpyromaxos Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Nice cretation! I like the idea of the door for the boats under the mountain! Nice work wit the rocks also! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Fantasti masterpiece! I really like the internal details! Quote
Staslegomaster Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 It looks gigantic. You have great patience and skill of the same size! Quote
LittleJohn Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Fantastic build! I really like how the towers are built into the rockwork and the interiors are great as well Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Pretty build with good color use and wall texture Though I think the interior steals the show here I like your triangular openings for ladders Quote
Ed9217 Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Excellent work on the interiors here, especially like the bunk beds and the sleeping quarter. Quote
-Sunder- Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 (edited) Nice job! It looks like a lot of time went into this. You seem to have a lot of those flat silver studs, haha Edited June 3, 2016 by -Sunder- Quote
blackdeathgr Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Very nice build with lots of noteworthy details and techniques! Job well done sir! Quote
Vorkosigan Posted June 7, 2016 Author Posted June 7, 2016 Thanks everyone for the many kind comments! Are there any shots of the dungeon? Sorry there is not much to the dungeon, just some jail doors into bare cells. I should've thought about building a hinged wall or something and made a complete cell. You seem to have a lot of those flat silver studs, haha They were on the PaB wall at one time, they're good for studded wood although I want to get some more of the new pyramid 1x1s. Quote
BrickCurve Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Nice one, I really like how you did the doors. I think the wooden platform on the right is a bit thick, if you made the legs of it higher and then made it only 2 plates thick. Quote
x105Black Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I love the idea here, and the execution is very well done. I love all of the stone, and I love the little details throughout (including the goats out front). Nice work! Quote
