Anthony12901 Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Since my local walmart is 20 mins away. You're probably thinking "Wehl wie r u sterrtin a nehw tohpik?" They've had Bionicle not in their lego aisle for 2-3 months. My next closet store that contains bionicle is Target, at 40 mins away.I don't think they have tooo many. My next closest is 50 mins away. It has a lot of Bionicle figures, but I need a store that has a lot of figures, so I'll get the new figures right when they come out. Could you please suggest any places that are around you that have a lot of Bionicle figures? Thanks! Quote
Kalhiki Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Toys R Us is the only place I've been that consistently has stock. Walmart has little to nothing. Target is only marginally better. TRU has most if not all the sets on shelves. No markup either, if I'm not mistaken. Or, y'know. Use the thing that's only a few steps away. The magic of the internet! :P Quote
Junior Shark Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 I buy a lot of my sets at Barnes & Noble. My local one has most of the 2015 sets and all of the 2016 sets. No mark-up, and if you have a B&N membership you get 20% off. Quote
Aanchir Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 I find Toys 'R' Us and Barnes and Noble to be the most reliable for Bionicle sets, though Toys 'R' Us prices are sometimes (not always) marked up. Quote

Thats why I've only gone there once. I AM little suprised that Barnes N' Noble has that many bioncles... Ok, question: what are the usual prices on Bionicles in B & N compared to actual lego prices?(10$, 15$, etc.) Edited May 13, 2016 by Anthony12901 Quote
Junior Shark Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Barnes & Noble is a great place to buy Lego, period. My local ones aren't heavily shopped, and they still have 2013-2015 sets from a lot of themes. Most of those old sets get pretty good discounts, too. Quote

Aanchir Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 Thats why I've only gone there once. I AM little suprised that Barnes N' Noble has that many bioncles... Ok, question: what are the usual prices on Bionicles in B & N compared to actual lego prices?(10$, 15$, etc.) Oddly enough Barnes and Noble prices (at least at my local store) seem to be below RRP... but only by a few cents. For instance, LEGO.com's price for Tahu is $19.99, while my local Barnes and Noble has him for $19.95. However, from my experience, other than old sets that they put on clearance, a lot of their sales and deals (like the 20% off coupons they send you in the mail if you have a B&N membership) don't apply to LEGO purchases. Logan McOwen Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 (edited) I don't tend to buy Lego in stores now (Amazon is my waifu) but from my experience, toy shops are the most consistent here in the UK, with supermarkets having a few current wave sets and maybe some previous wave sets. Surprisingly, Argos doesn't seem to even carry Bionicle in-store anymore, which is odd as they carry practically every set per season. Edited May 17, 2016 by Logan McOwen Quote
Junior Shark Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 (edited) I came late to the G2 party so I'm playing catch-up with the sets, and I've found Walgreen's to be helpful in finding Protectors. Edited May 20, 2016 by Junior Shark Quote
77ncaachamps Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Other places to check for Bionicles at discount (more hit and miss): Goodwill (US) from Target clearances, and Ross/Marshalls with usually a 20% discount. Quote
Maskmaker of Light Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 (edited) I wouldn't recommend Target, because the stores around me only stock some of the creatures, the large Toa, Umarak, and occasionally Gali. Walmart's alright, but the stores closest to me are starting to not stock as much, it's almost the same selection as Target. The Toys R Us closest to me is quite far, if you don't use the highway, but it has decent stock, having most, if not all Winter Wave Bionicle sets, as well as plentiful amounts of Lava and Storm Beast, and one Quake Beast. In addition, there's 2015 sets on clearance. Speaking of TRU, Something I learned from Just2Good is that they'll price-match with LEGO.com. So if a set's on clearance on LEGO's website, you can pull up the listing from the website on your mobile device (if possible), and they'll price match. I tried it with Pohatu, and it worked! Kalta the Noble Mind Posted June 13, 2016 Posted June 13, 2016 are there any Bionicle sets in the official Lego Stores? I have only been to the one mall store near me in queens NY which only has the star wars buildable figures but I don't believe they have the summer waves yet so for all I know my lego store is just selling their remaining stock. would want to go to the manhattan flagship stores if they have the latest sets.
