Palathadric Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 (edited) I approach the werewolf. "Greetings, sir. What a fine day this is for a stroll at the port, eh? Are you here on business?" It is a werewolf, right? Edited May 12, 2016 by Palathadric Quote
K-Nut Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Althior makes his way over to the man in the top hat, clearly ignoring Byblos. "Mr. Gaunt," he says, standing in front of the man. "That's your name, right? Haven't seen you since the sewers... Mind telling me what business the Wolfgang has here?" He says, attempting to intimidate the man. Quote
Quarryman Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Namyrra approached the sharkling fish monger attempting to shoo away the cat who was clearly trunking to get a free breakfast. "Good morning! Is this your catch of the day? Looks like good fish!" Quote

Upon closer inspection, Monk Pretzel realized he's been talking to a werebear. The hulking half-beast looked down at Pretzel with disinterested. "Nah, waiting to catch my ship that'll ferry me to Eubric. Heard there's war a-brewing, and saw a chance to make some gold out of it. Heard there's this organization called Herochica or something like that that'll hire just about anyone. Have to see about that..." The mercenary's gaze wanders to the sea. JimBee Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 "I suppose, from your tone, that heroes did it, and you no less. That should be a tale worth recounting." "Perhaps another time, out of earshot of those who would support the Bonapartes, heheh..." Hybros was relieved to be on land again. As Althior confronted what appeared to be a scarecrow, he eyed the seagull suspiciously. After scarecrow took off, he hurried over to Althior. "I believe we have already found a lead." Hybros readied his wings for pursuit. "Erm, I still do not know how to use these very effectively, but perhaps with a little boost I could try to glide after this man." Quote
K-Nut Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 Althior scowls. "I don't like the idea of any one of us going up against Ambergaze or her servants alone. I'm sure I can track him down again later, though I wouldn't be surprised if he showed his face again," Quote

I don't believe they hire though. It's kind of like community service, a friendly person may come along and give a donation, but I could be wrong. He was itching for combat and was eager to get rid of his sea legs. "Did you at least hear what he was saying to the bird? I know prophets are skilled in all languages." Hybros gives a meaningful look to Atramor. "Try trapping it with those bolas I gave you." Quote

Sandy Posted May 16, 2016 Author Posted May 16, 2016 QM Note: I'm sorry, I had another incredibly busy weekend. You can blame my friends and the Eurovision Song Contest. "I've heard of them. I don't believe they hire though. It's kind of like community service, a friendly person may come along and give a donation, but I could be wrong. Do you happen to know of or have seen a travelling orcish merchant?" The werebear looked contemplating. "Huh. Have to think again... Maybe just join a private army, then. Heard there's a lot of them in Eubric. Not seen an orcish merchant here. Haven't been around for long, though. Just arrived on a ship from Terra Chima the other day." Atramor glares as the freakish scarecrow things runs off, but rather than argue with Althior or Hybros what to do about him he instead attempts to grab the seagull. Atramor's quick thief's reflexes allowed him to seize the seagull before it could take to the skies. "Kraaah!" The seagull tried to flail its way to freedom, but soon it tired and succumbed to its captors. "Keee! Keee! [i followed you from Eubric and raported everything you spoke about to His Majesty. Have you by any chance seen an orcish merchant with a stupid grin, wearing a straw hat and carrying a way too large backpack?" Nergut laughed heartily, baring all her many rows of sharp teeth. "Aye! I've seen him alright. Rides around the streets on a fancy wagon with no horses pulling it, peddling his wares. I remember he has a funny name, hasn't he? Some kind of a potty word... Sammy Doodoo, was it?" Quote
Palathadric Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 "You may be right there. Good luck with your venture. You look like quite a formidable foe." Quote
JimBee Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Hybros inspected the seagull thoroughly before determining that it was not the gull he was looking for. "You are lucky your name is not Soonavask, or I would have plucked your beady little eyeballs out on the spot. I will leave the interrogation to you, Althior." With that Hybros returned to the task at hand and stepped up to the person in the crimson hood. "Ehem, hello. Are you from around here? Do you know of a young merchant orc in town?" OOC: Atramor should also have the Banana Bladerang in his inventory. Quote

Ask it what the hell it was doin' with that rat bastard in the top hat, may not be Ulfric's flunkey anymore but it sounds like he still serves that witch...and he might know somethin' 'bout the apprentice."Twitzle the canary poked his tiny head out from under the brim of Atramor's hat to examine the situation and taunt the seagull. I was only instructed to meet His Majesty at the port upon your arrival to give him my raport! The locals began to wonder what the strange phenomenon was all about. Quote
