Doctor Sinister Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 I'm still feeling my way with this, but I've taken on board a lot of the comments so far. Unless this is still too big, this is probably the format I'll adopt: Dr. S. Quote

Batbrick Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 Hilarious! :-D I probably like the first one a bit more, but this brand of humour is right up my alley! *y* One thing tough, the grey shading behind the lettering is a little distracting when trying to read. Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

Doctor Sinister Posted December 17, 2007 Author Posted December 17, 2007 One thing tough, the grey shading behind the lettering is a little distracting when trying to read. Noted. I'm gradually getting there with a format - thanks for the feedback, I'll take that one on board for sure. Dr. S. Quote

Big T Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Ah yes your humour is right up my alley. I'm liking these a lot, can't wait to see what the next one is like Quote
Quarryman Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Funny enough, but still too big. And I guess I'm not the only one here with a resolution of 1024x768.. The comic strip itself is pretty much the right size, but I think you waste too much space by having the large logo and your signature on the left. So here's my suggestions to make it more reader friendly: a) move the logo and the signature b) scale down the logo I took the liberty of doing a quick modification of this strip, which in my opinion works better: (modifications done on a Thinkpad X61s, without a proper mouse ;-)) Quote
El Bucanero Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Pregnant!! :-D :-D A very funny highlight on this boring day. Thank you! Looks very clean. Keep them coming! Quote
Doctor Sinister Posted December 18, 2007 Author Posted December 18, 2007 (edited) Funny enough, but still too big. And I guess I'm not the only one here with a resolution of 1024x768... MicVash Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I am really liking these comics! Photographed well, edited well, short but oh so sweet. I love the quick punch line at the end. Really makes it seem like a good ol Sunday newspaper comic, and I'm sure makes it easier to make more comics. Plus, I didn't have to read the first comic to understand the jist of this second one, which is really important if you keep this up. Keep them coming! You're doing great! Quote
