ACPin Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Not a contest entry since it was already posted elsewhere before the contest announcement. The path starts with Anubis, takes them around the three pyramids and finishes with the Pharaoh. Also the 2x2 curved slopes can be removed to set the traps if needed. AC Quote
Mantarri Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Hey, cool MOC, I remember playing with a wooden maze like this and had a lot of fun, you just got to make sure to move very slowly. Quote
Tech Artist Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 (edited) This is pretty cool though I think at least red somewhere would be nice. Hey, cool MOC, I remember playing with a wooden maze like this and had a lot of fun, you just got to make sure to move very slowly. I still have yet to beat the maze. The ball gets stuck easily, the gears have a tendency to stick, you have to move slow, and if the maze gets stuck you have to nudge it and risk losing. I love the set but it definitely has issues. Definitely slow and sure movement to get through. Though I did this without the traps so that kids can play and not get frustrated. AC Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Fun idea to do a maze based around the pyramids The minifigs used as start and end points add some nice flair too Quote
ACPin Posted May 5, 2016 Author Posted May 5, 2016 Fun idea to do a maze based around the pyramids The minifigs used as start and end points add some nice flair too The pyramids were part of a previous build and since this was intended for smaller kids, the minifigs were much more easier to understand/ demonstrate the start and end points.
