Plz lik me Awsum MOC!!

Okay if you are any type of sane person your first thought should have been; what the crap is this?? Actually it is a digital recreation of my first Bionicle MOC as a seven year old kid back in 2001. This isn't an exact recreation, but more of "what I remember" and using parts from three sets I had as a kid back then. The story behind this MOC is that I believe I had already seen ads for Bionicle in the Lego Mania magazine, and perhaps had seen the first comic already. I didn't own any Bionicle parts yet, so I created; um, this rainbow warrior monstrosity... So yeah, in a way this was my first Toa.

For the life of me I can't figure out why seven year old me chose the elemental powers as "guns." I mean, guns are a tool and a weapon and not a power... It might have been a result that my only sets where Star Wars sets at the time, and I had an abundance of those old time laser gun pieces.

And yes fortunately I ended up getting actual Bionicle sets shortly after this monster was built (Lewa was my first). So once Lewa and crew arrived; the Toa of Guns was dismantled to return to the sets and the parts bin from whence it came!

most bestest awsum toa evvvahh! But, the backstory is interesting and reminds me that I should post my childhood creations someday.

Ahh.. good old partial fraction expansion! It has always helped me while building LEGO! I feel smart again, thank you!
