18th century military coats

Hey all,

Our new member Princess Ariana has made some very cool custom elements fit for any Imperial army based off of Armothe's 'full wrap' template. I believe some of these can be adopted to suit a merchant or pirate captain as well. For now these are only templates that can be printed on normal printer paper although she does plan to make something using fabric in the future with some small buttons that are absent in the decal designs.

Great coats, Princess Ariana! I've never had any talent with paper accessories, but I've seen some amazing work with this (yours included). The fact that this is paper, and not cloth, doesn't seem to detract from the quality of the work at all!

It's nice to see some designs covering not only the front of the torso, but also the sides.

This is really creative and great! What an excellent idea. That really fits in well with the LEGO world. Thanks for sharing them with us! *sweet*

No problem. I'll definitely be making more coat templates and some other period decals. Now that's it's the holidays I think I'll be able to make more designs. Stay tune for more news.

Thanks ricecracker. It actually took a year for 2 of my online chat buddies to get me to join here. So far enjoying looking at the minifig customization threads and the Bionicle stuff. Looking forward to seeing a lot more pictures coming up of the new 2008 sets.
