HorcikDesigns Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 (edited) Hi! What do you think about my new overstickered MOC? It is swooshabe (when held at tail or under both wings, and it has non-accesible winch). You can find more photos in my Flickr album: https://flic.kr/s/aHsksv7VuQ What's more, this MOC is blogged three times in 24 hours! http://www.tilesorst...ik-designs.html , http://bricknerd.com...ks-away-16-2016 , https://thelegocarbl...t-like-its-hot/ And, since 23.4.2016 it is blogged here too. http://www.brothers-brick.com/2016/04/22/a-dropship-delivering-more-than-just-lego-bricks/ G3Dropship "Bricks away" by Horcik Designs, on Flickr Hope you like it ;) Edited April 23, 2016 by Gzzig Quote
___ Posted April 16, 2016 Posted April 16, 2016 (edited) Although to me it looks like some kind of hybrid between Aliens dropship and US military VTOL plane V-22 Osprey (BTW called "Black widow" for very good reason) I really like it: looks authentic (that is I can easily imagine it being real life plane) + also colorization is good too (and yes: those stickers make it look even more real)...good job!. Space Police XVIII Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Wow, beautiful job. Both the markings and the build, there's a lot of nice touches like the flags overlapping the windshield. Can I ask how you made the stickers? I'm going to have to try this myself. Quote
carebear Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Wow!!! Realy like this one!!! Great Work!!! Greetings Quote
HorcikDesigns Posted April 18, 2016 Author Posted April 18, 2016 Thank you very much for positive feedback! @Space Police XVIII - To create the custom stickers have I cut stickers that I did not used on original sets. The more complicated pieces (noseart, custom text) are made with transparent tape and markers or acryllic paint, where needed, with sticker that has paper-like top (for easier painting of the pin-up girl). For cutting, I used the sharpest knife I had found, and ruler for long and thin lines. Hope this help ;) I am looking forward for your creation! Quote
