I am needing a quick fix, I am R/Cing my 42043 but when I have the steering servo connected to the receiver the servo doesn't work, but when I connect the servo straight to the battery box it works. I have tried 2 receivers but the same result for both. The drive motor on the same receiver works though. Can someone please help?.

This is frankly something I've never heard of before. So, have you tried the servo on both outputs of the receivers? It's very odd that it would work on the battery box, but not on the receivers. If you've done all the obvious, the only thing I'd be able to suggest is ask customer service about it.

Check the cable. I have a servo with one of the data lines damaged. It functions fine with the battery box, but when I use a switch or receiver it doesn't work

Though highly unlikely, you could have two defective/damaged receivers :sceptic:.

Do the receivers work with other motors or the same issue with the servo?

It is working now, I tried some other receivers and another servo motor, must have been a defective receiver. Might have been nearly flat batteries aswell. Thanks for the help.

This problem aslo came up by my receivers. All of my servos work with the rest of them, but some receivers seems to be "older", or a little "under the limit of servos". I have 5 receivers, 4 of them are V1s. The servos don't work with 2 of the V1s. If anyone knows, exactly why, let us know. One thing is sure: servos must work with V2 receivers, this problem is just in case of V1s. With other words: the lack of working in V1s is not a failure in working, because they are older. But if they aren't working with V2s, then the receiver is faulty.

Servos also can be faulty, but the chance is very low for that, this problem is caused by the receivers.
