Nice comparison pictures! I like the new Toy Story Alien and the new Ariel hair way better than the first versions.

I also like the new Buzz better, as well. That old head, while true to its source material, just looks poorly made, and it doesn't feel like LEGO to me...

I can see now why Buzz and the TSA were reused in this series, and I'm thankful for these remakes since I was never around to get the old Toy Story sets. That said, I really hope we get a Woody minifigure in the future to accompany Buzz, but he'd need a new mold for his hat/hair as he'll also use a regular head... not sure if he'll use the long legs, but I hope he has better printing...

The Ariel minidoll with the new hair looks exactly like the one in the cartoons, IMO. I am looking forward to the set and hopefully it will be easy to get ahold of like s15 was.

AGreed. I was thinking that the minidoll looked fabulous with the new Ariel hair. (And I prefer ARiel as a Minidoll rather than a minifig)

The old Ariel hair looked fine on the minidoll, not good on the minifig at all. But the new hair looks good on both.

If it's not too much to ask, could you post a picture of the poster? I'm planning on going hunting them but nobody seems to have posted one yet and the poster (or booklet?) is great for bag-feelers.

You forgot the helmet for buzz , is it in pieces in the bags (for feeling purposes ) or is it on giant piece ? Otherwise super pics !!

The whole series is available in FNAC stores in France (www.fnac.com)

Buzz Lightyear comes with four different pieces : two wing pieces, one for the helmet and another one for the astronaut suit ! :)

Just bought Buzz Lightyear off Ebay for £3.40 before he becomes rare and hard to get hold of without paying a ridiculous price like £4.99. Probably only be able to get him by paying £1 extra than the cost of a bag or feeling the packets (which I'm not very good at) anyway.
