I'm 33 and I've just acknowledged my designation as an AFOL (it's a little bit like an A.A. meeting!) I, like my fellow new member Flossie, was an avid collector of the 'old' castle LEGO but I'm now working on a working, technic model of a Landrover series 3 (going well) and a rollercoaster (going dangerously wrong!). I've been reading the comments you have all left for some time now but there's too many things that I want to comment on so I've made the leap to being active. I was spurned on to join following the find of my LEGO club certificate from 1981 / 1982 in a recent move... (perhaps my first new topic?) I look forward to 'talking' with you all in the future.
