I'm pretty sure everyone is very excited about the Clone Wars sets coming up in Summer '08, and there must be some high expectations. What are people expecting? Based on names from the list, there must be at least one, but what about the others?

I reckon that all the sets you listed will be Clone War sets. I remember xwingyoda found out that there will be 8 Clone Wars sets in 2008, so 7669 Anakin's JSF plus the 7 you listed there sounds right.

Remember, this is the new CGI Clone Wars series, so even if the vehicles didn't appear in the cartoon, they could still be in the new series.

Without knowing too much about what's going to be in the series, I hope we see some sort of representation of the Jedi Temple at some point, and we get a few more alien jedi. Roron Corobb (Hammerhead Jedi), Ki-Adi Mundi, Plo Koon (my personal fave), etc...

Personally I hope a Shaak Ti minifig is attached to one of the sets as that would be awesome,still I look foward to the V-19 torrent and well I have no idea on the Twilight...I guess we will see what it is in the near future.

Still I guess the odd thing about these sets is the Exo-force type heads,getting minifigs of characters that were previously unreleased is cool and all but they don't exactly fit in with the other SW lego?

I want a normal republic gunship ORR if they used some imagination they could make a bottom half of the gunship removable so u can switch it from arc gunship to normal gunship! that would be neat. Defintaly goin for the at-te:)

Probably the most important. In CWAS, there are so many cool figs, including Durge, Asajj Ventrass, General Greivous, and the ARC Trooper squad, to name a few. I know everybody would love for these figs to be made.

Let's take the ARC Troopers, for example. IMHO, they are the coolest guys in the series. if TLC made these guys, they'd be answering a lot of fan's wishes, including better pauldrons, kamas, and painted helmets and arm decals, not to mention Ep. II trooper helmets.

Ok as for figs well rumor has it that we might get a Yoda and Mace with the RGS, though i doubt both at this time.

I also really doubt we will get a Durge fig, these new sets are based on the new cartoon and as far as i have heard he isnt even in it. Don't get me wrong i would love a fig of him but i just don't think it will happen.

Well, the ARC gunship has blue wings along with the "mouth", while the normal RGS features red wings.

I would love a new "cartonie" Mace to go with "cartoonie" Anie ;-)

Regarding that RGS, I am sure we want have that beautifull Sharkmouth for cost reasons. IMO we'll have the basic white/dark red pattern like the ARC & V19 |-/

Ohhh great the all mighty Wookiepedia speaks and you believe it! :-| I don't know how many times i have to say this but here goes again: Wookiepedia can be editied by anyone! That means all of whats on there is unture, especially where lego SW is concerned.

The Twilight is most likely a new ship of some sort and not a moment in SW history.

Well, how much more would the color difference possibly cost? I'm not familiar with what colors are more expensive, but it couldn't be that much more, could it?

Well, "twilight" in wiki is Padme's death, isn't it? I doubt TLC would make such a dark and sad scene.

I really would have wanted a Torrent Starfighter. From Clone Wars. And some of those ugly Magnaguards in minifig form. I also would like Anakin's blue custom JSF. And a Droid Gunship. That'd be w00t. Asajj Ventress starfighter would also be great.

Quite a few of those are things that many people do not knwo about and might not be the best choices. However an Asaaj Ventress minifig would be awesome. I think it would be better to have an AT-TE carrier gunship than that ARC gunship because it would probably contain some really tacky stickers. I am looking forward to some ARC troopers though, which would probably give TLC a reason to bring back the Ep. II clones.

Thats great news but alot of these sets imo is a rip off. I saw a pic of the v-19 torrent and it looked tiny and its sellin for 50 dollars....Woooow. Same with the fighter tank unless if that figther tank includes 4+ more ep2 clonies then maybe ill get it and besides these prices are in the states and i live in canada so thats going to be 70 dollars! Wow...a bit pricey in the summer dont u think? WELL im just gettin the RGS and AT-TE for now. Thanks for the prices!
