Photo review: Rebel Battle Pack

It's a nice army builder but I think the vehicle looks like something a 10 yearold could throw together. Once again I disagree with the parts rating (if you exclude figs), nothing special really. I would say it passes, with a 5, maybe 6. Another nice review.

Excellent review. It looks like your first trip to a LEGO store was incredibly successful. Thanks for posting the review, those figs are awesome and the speeder is not bad either. I actually can use the spare parts I will get when I build my rebel army. *wub* those torsos! Not to mention badass helmets! :-$

The vehicle does look as crappy as before :-P Weird ince usually its the kind of design that grows on you like the SI, but who cares since no one will buy that set for that anyway :-P

Its great seeing better pics of that sweet helmet *wub* Oh boy I can't wait for having a puny rebel army getting squashed big time by Stormies X-D

I really like the set and will be picking up several though I must admit the one thing I hate is the stickers,I personally hate the idea of lego and stickers...what happened to the printed decals?

I like the new rebel figs which have been highly desired for a long time

The speeder is ok and is pretty random, seeing that TLG likes doing that

but... it would have been so much better to have a "real" OT set. :-/

the should have made a rebel ground transport from the Yavin Base,

like Bruce did a while ago: Bruce's Rebel Transports

Then, next year they could make the car from the Echo Base coming with a mechanic, a pilot and 2 scout troopers... that WOULD have been nice... :-|

Or .. they could have included Captain Antilles...

My rebel scout speeders are coming in the mail soon, so my 18 storm troopers won't have to fight my six rebel pilots anymore. Let me tell you, a pathetic fight. This set does look like a more, "thought out" battle pack to me and I will enjoy adding them to my lacking rebel forces.
