Hinckley Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Here's another review of a 2008 Exo-Force Deep Jungle set: 8117 Storm Lasher. I have been picking up a new set every time I go back to check for more Indy sets. :-$ Enjoy and, as always, feel free to let me know what you think. Quote
Lt. Veers Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 I saw that at my TRU, but for some reason I passed it up. Now I wish I hadn't. Quote
ExoBuilder Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Nice review Hinckley...even though you can't spell. :-| X-D Lt Veers: You can get them on SAH now. *sweet* Quote

Batbrick Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 :-D True. But I can edit so people will never know I misspelled anything...unless of course you blab about it, you little megablocks-head. :-P __________ Funny thing, megablocks overtakes the word a$$ on this board, that is a weird name to be calling him Hinckley, an A$$ Head? *wacko* :-P Anyway, now that I've offended you, thanks SO much for this review. This one is top of my list for Exo-Force 08, to equip my troll armies! >:-) I love that minibot too! *wub* To the Brickmobile! -Courtesy of Exo-Builder who made it! >:-) Quote

X-D :-D :-D And you're certainly welcome. And I agree this set was cooler than I thought, but it's not long for the display shelf...the pieces are too cool and useful! >:-) Quote

I will display it, but like you not for long, the PEICES! *skull* To the Brickmobile! -Courtesy of Exo-Builder who made it! >:-) Quote
LuxorV Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Ok, polite talking apart, I think this set is great, especially for the minirobot. Even so, I'm not planning to get it for now... Will see *sad* And, Hinckley, the hinge piece is not new. Ok, I had mistaken it for this :-$ . The one in Storm Lasher is new *y* . Thanks for the perfect review, as always. LuxorV Quote
hollisbrick Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 (edited) nice reveiw hinck! this set is *y* *y* up for me just like the rest of the 2008 sets! Edited December 5, 2007 by hollisbrick Quote

Eight letter words can be challenging :-Palthough i must say, the mini robots are quite nice. and again i like the robot's versions better than the human's.That's always the case for me. Although, I have the Assault Tiger and will start on it next. On the box it looks like it is wearing huge bell bottoms. :-D I want to get the Chameleon Hunter, I really like the look of it and forgot to pick it up. Guess I'll have to go back to TRU! :-$ Cross your fingers that I find more Indy sets! X-D Quote

X-D If you say you can edit things so people can't see it, then they will know you said it... This is getting Megablocking confusing... *sweet* Quote
Derek Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 The new exhaustpipe's resemblance to megablocks scares the freaking crap outta me... :-| Quote
zero1312 Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 Wow, nice review. *y* But I have a question: Where can I find these "ork sets" everyone is refering to because of these swords in the rotors. :-/ Quote

john cleese Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 thanks for the review, although I still have no intentions of buying this, it's neat to know what's inside, the build etc... (the etc being the comic ;-) X-D ) It's wierd because I dont know what it is I dont like about this set. Quote
zero1312 Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Are you talking about the Dwarves Mine? *sweet* Yes, when in 2008 do these sets come to Germany? :-/ Quote
Brainbox Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Oh, I just *wub* theat mini-bot. Creepy, but strangely cute... Nice piece selection, and the idea of something with rotors that double up as cutters storming (no pun intended) through the jungle ripping it apart is just fantastic (to me, anyway). I'm liking the new swords as rotors blades, that's pretty innovative, and the exhaust pipe pieces are intriguing. Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Thanks for the review, Hinckley! I like the set it looks good, and all those ork swords..... *wub* Quote
ExoBuilder Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Yes, when in 2008 do these sets come to Germany? :-/ Um I do not know, I live in the U.S.A. *sweet* Quote
