I have been designing an excavator using LDD i came across a panel which works perfect for me but i can't find it anywhere in the real world which is an issue as i wil be starting to collect the parts to build my excavator soon. This is the panel in LDD its called Panel Angular 3x5x3 I could change the design but I like the way it is now so it would be nice to find this panel and of course it needs to be the right colour but one issue at a time. filuS Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 when you select a brick in LDD, it will show its number and name in status bar (bar below the main window). Most of the time you can find that brick on bricklink by part number listed in mentioned status bar, in this case 24116. Quote
Gnac Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 I'm not sure why LDD lists it as 3 x 5 x 3. LDD most likely uses the two distances in studs from the bend to each mounting hole. Bricklink seems to derive the 6 from the distance between the mounting holes. Quote
