iamded Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Thanks for the review! These look great, I've been wanting these but it would cost heaps for shipping and I don't have paypal. :-( ~Peace Quote
PSPguy Posted December 2, 2007 Author Posted December 2, 2007 Brickarms is cool like that. You dont need a Paypal account. The paying thing takes you to paypal.com to pay. Its just like Lego.com but its on paypaol.com. :-) Quote
iamded Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I've never shopped online so I wouldn't have a clue what to do. I have a credit card if that helps. :-P And does it automatically add shipping to the cost on the online checkout? ~Peace Quote
PSPguy Posted December 2, 2007 Author Posted December 2, 2007 (edited) It tells you in your cart what everything thing costs. You need atleast $5 worth of stuff so in the end you will be paying atleast $8 cause normal shipping is $3. Edited December 2, 2007 by PSPguy Quote
Batbrick Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Thanks for this excellent review PSPGuy! *sweet* I love Brickarms designs, but als cannot get them. Reason? To many official sets to get |-/ I still have to get Arkham asylum, Battank, Batcopter, Skeleton Ship Attack and The shipwreck before even considering these. That said, if I had the money I would not hesitate to buy, they are THAT good. Again thanks for the review! *y* To the Brickmobile! >:-) Quote
hollisbrick Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 (edited) great reveiw, i voted yes! i really want something from brickarms! Edited December 2, 2007 by hollisbrick Quote
PSPguy Posted December 2, 2007 Author Posted December 2, 2007 I suggest a shotgun mostly. Everyone with Brickarms should have a shottie of your own. Quote
Doctor Sinister Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 The entire Tabletown PD is equipped with Brickarms weapons, and shortly the Tabletown Army will be similarly supplied. Alas, the criminal fraternity is also armed to the teeth... If you check the front page of the Brickarms site right now, one of my Vignettes is there! Dr. S. Quote
Doctor Sinister Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Cool. Which guns do they use? The Tabletown PD uses H&K MP5s and Walther pistols. The Tabletown Army will use a mix of some heavy custom weapons I've made myself, M16s (probably used by the vehicle drivers) and pulse-rifles for assault troops, plus grenades and pistols. Dr. S. Captain Green Hair Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Really cool review, those guns look awesome! *wub* Can i hire you to kill some shark, they keep eating my crew when they fall overboard... Quote
SirNadroj Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Thanks for the reveiw, PSP! ;-) I love Brickarms ~ the quality is superb, and not just the weapons, the minifigures, too. I've purchased a couple and their awesome! But I can't help but notice that we look uncannily similar! 8- Quote
simonjedi Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Thanks for the review i wouldn't normally buy any brickarm stuff because it wouldn't fit with the star wars stuff. However indy lego is out soon and nazi's need guns Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Nice review, and a funny comic, I have yet to buy any brickarms weapons. But I pressed the wrong option!! *sing* I accidentally pressed no!! Terribly sorry! 8-| Quote
Lt. Veers Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Nice review! What's the quality like? Quote
tedbeard Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I voted no because there have been other reviews of BA weapons and no new information was provided. I did like the comics though. *sweet* Quote

the enigma that is badger Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Nice review! What's the quality like? The quality is HIGH Well, I'm far from an unbiased source, but I can tell you that if by "quality" you mean the type of plastic used in their construction, Will Chapman (all-around grand pooba of Brickarms) uses the same kind of high-quality ABS plastic that TLC uses for their parts. Uzi-its ok There has been some discussion about modifying the mold of the uzi to add a wire-stock and perhaps a suppressor to the uzi design to make the weapon a more striking profile. However, with Will currently hard at work on Mold #3, this likely won't occur in the near future. Glad you liked the weapons! badger Quote
PSPguy Posted December 3, 2007 Author Posted December 3, 2007 Well its just that I thought the Uzi would be a little bigger. Quote
Scouty Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Well, Uzis aren't typically all that big in life. So I can imagine these guys scaled it correctly. 1/48 I think. Quote
PSPguy Posted December 4, 2007 Author Posted December 4, 2007 Ive personnaly seen some pretty big Uzis. Quote
the enigma that is badger Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Ive personnaly seen some pretty big Uzis. True, there are several larger uzi variants, but the Brickarms Uzi is based on the micro uzi variant, a weapon approximately the same size as a pistol. As such, the minifig accessory is properly scaled. badger Quote
