Starwars4J Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Classic-Space user, Nannan recently came up with a really neat MOC. He's been delving into abstract art, and this really caught my eye. I figured you guys might get a kick out of it. An extra-dimensional plane of existance, ruled over by Ulyoath. Behold, the Cry of Dreams. Supposedly everything has some meaning, can you find them all? Link to original thread Quote
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 weird! *alien* but very creative! *sweet* *y* Quote
dunamis Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 That's really cool. I like how it is new and different. Very creative. Quote
Brickmaster Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I read his topic on mocpages, and there he kindof explains alot of the meanings aswell, heh. It is a very beautifully sculpted moc, even despite the death and gore. My favourite part would have to be the skull and spine ripped out by the bionicle minifigure. Great detail, and ace work. Quote
john cleese Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 (edited) Amazing. That's all i'll say. If I write a lengthy post, I wont properly express my opinion on this. Edited December 2, 2007 by john cleese Quote
iamded Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 The best bit is when that guy gets his spine pulled out. :-P Predator ON! ~Peace Quote
Asuka Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 A formal beautiful and very surrealistic work indeed. For all who want to know a little more about it you can read the story here on mocpages. *y* If you missed Starwars4J link right under the picture, like I did, that is.... X-D Quote
ExoBuilder Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 A little bit disturbing but I like it X-D Quote
Siegfried Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 All aboard! Next stop, freakville! :-D Quote
TheFrisian Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 WEIRD!!! But I really like the design, it's very well put together! *y* Quote
yellost Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 funny... Seeing it, I couldn't hep thinking of another MOC I saw a few months ago which I'v been obsessed with ever since... And when I hit the "up" button, Oooh surprise, there it was... That guy really has a style of his own... here's his other MOC, the cosmic chaos. I just love that one. It's simple and yet I can't help feeling something very deep is hidden inside... But then again, I'm weird, so... *wacko* Quote
Asuka Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 here's his other MOC, the cosmic chaos. I just love that one. I really *wub* that grey car in his 'Horror'-folder.... And of course a lot more from his work. *y* Quote
El Bucanero Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 That's veeeeerry interesting... And creative. Reminds me of Escher. I have no other words for this 8- Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Wow this is cool, absolutely no studs and great detail! *sweet* The story is quite inventive too! Quote
Siegfried Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I really *wub* that grey car in his 'Horror'-folder.... *wub* I forgot he did that. Quote
Dragonator Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 This guy is awesome! Check out all the other MOC's he has made, they are just fantastic (in a weird sort of way...) The story behind this one is pretty out there, if you have time, then read it, it is really.... weird.... (and cool!) *sweet* Quote
Ricecracker Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 *wub* there are no words to describe this well aside from beautiful and unique ;-) but seriously ive been thinking about delving into that sort of style of building thanks showing this to us 4j Quote
casewindu Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 This is an astonishing imaginative moc! Very artistic and modern looks like something you may see in the tate! 8- Quote
Derek Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Ewww! That part where the Piraka figure-guy-thing is Ripping a body's head off and they use the Piraka spine as a human one! :-X Very cool though! *y* DP8 Quote
