soft axles shape

Hey everyone.... I have some older sets that i will be borrowing some soft axles from for my current project. Some seem permanently bend in the shape of the old model. I have tried to bend them in the reverse direction, leave them overnight, etc. with no luck. Anyone have any tricks to re-straighten or return an old soft axle to its original shape?

You could make it straight then put some wait on it for a day of two.

Or you could put it in several 4526985 for a long time.

Put them into a bowl of hot water for a while to soften, remove, then straighten and leave to dry - I use this method regularly with good success.

+1 on the hot water bath. Tried and works fine. As for microwave, it's tempting but afraid it'll damage them permanently.

Noice, I'll have to try this with the dark stone grey 11M ones I have. They're made of a much softer material than the others - those can usually be made a bit straighter just with some aggressive counterbending.

A little late to the party, but I will throw in my support for the hot water trick. Even running them under the tap on hot for 5-10 seconds is sufficient.
