garethjellis Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Here is a project I have just posted to Lego Ideas, https://ideas.lego.com/projects/135755 Quote
THERIZE Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Nice concept. the wheels seem oversized but that isn't a big problem. But why does Thomas have the face from James? also, I think Annie & Clarabel's colour should be more of an orange color and i don't really like that their faces stick out. Quote
Hinckley Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 From our Site Guidlines: LEGO Ideas: If you have a great MOC, that is also a LEGO Ideas project, you may present it on EB as you would any MOC, with a single link to the Ideas entry. Make the title about the MOC, not the Ideas business; don't be too shouty, and it is likely to be tolerated. You need to be thinking: 'I want people on EB to see my MOC and comment on it. If they like it, perhaps they'll support it on LEGO Ideas', rather than: 'I want Ideas support! If I post it on EB, perhaps more people will vote!. Please post some pictures of your MOC and present it as an MOC or this thread will be locked and the link removed. Right now, it is only a link to your project which is against the Guideline posted above. Thank you. Quote

Electricsteam Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 The wheels are quite oversized, using the smallest wheels would be a bit of the better option for the trains. I do really like the 4w Toby he seems accurately scaled Quote
Hod Carrier Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Nice to see some more 4-wide models. And they are charming too, even if the slightly oversized wheels do tend to distort the scale and appearance of the models. On that note, I'm not sure the smallest wheels are suitable for the locos. They are simply too small and I fear they will look worse. Have you thought of packaging them in sets with a circle of Indiana Jones/Alien Mothership track (no other play-ready track exists at this gauge) and maybe some structures or road vehicles? You also need some troublesome trucks to complete your fleet. Quote
