Would you buy a pirate copied Lego Pirate ship?

If you couldn't get the sets anywhere else?

I saw in the newsagent near my house they had a ship. It was 26.00 euros.

Would you get it or pass?

I would never buy fake lego, i'd rather other bricks here and there, download some instructions and put the set together myself if it was a hard to find one...

I once obtained a small box of fake Pirate Lego on a 'kermis' ('fair'? something with a giant ferris wheel, ponies for the kids, a merry-go-round, etc). It was called Shifty. In my view, they can replace the F with another T.

Funny you mention this...

Assamite was at a market the other day and he came across a couple of sets by that Brick company. Since the sets are almost direct knock offs of official LEGO sets I shall do a comparison review.

I don't mind good copied legos, but only if it really is great looking and not cheap rip-offs. any good addition is welcomed in my collection, but only if it really adds something to the hobby.

I shall not buy copied lego, but the brown pirate hat which is in official lego only made in red, blue, green and Black looks nice. So when Lego mades a new pirate line (I hope as soon as posseble) they may also made browm pirate hats for me.

Would I buy it? Hmm...I dislike own-brand pieces in other shapes and colours and so no, I wouldn't. However, were the bricks to have Lego stamped on the top and be identical in every way, just much cheaper, I would. In different colours? Yes and no - only as near to official colours as theyt come.

So I would buy small, complete rip-offs, where they don't even pretend the brick is their own - Megablox has their logo between the "studs" (more like blobs though) and TLC puts it on top (at least at the moment - who knows when they'll remove it to save on plastic? I.E. A Lego set in a different box! 8-|

I do not like you trashing this since it is actually a Good set but I got the BSB kind one Here

It fits together perfectly and has perfect Tricornes and Perfect Cutlasses and well Perfect boat.

Also I do not like to buy a Used set from someone in another country with no box when you can get a perfectly good set for less money and I know many of you say "But if you want lego get the real thing"

This pirateship surely is a lot of fun if you are looking for a pirateship out of constructable pieces, so Joey Lock it's great to read you having a good time with it.

Well I was thinking to that I only would buy it since theres not really many cheap ones left.

But I would never buy Fakes for other themes since they only make pirate stuff.

But also since they do a variety of set copies you could be saving over
