xwingyoda Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 Guys, Its always nice to have some positive news about Lego ;) "ATLANTA, Georgia (CNN) -- Organizers say this weekend's FIRST LEGO League World Festival might help save the planet, but for the thousands of kids putting their robots up against those of their peers, this is just plain fun." You can read the article here: http://edition.cnn.com/2005/TECH/science/0...pics/index.html Enjoy ;) Quote
The Middleman Posted April 23, 2005 Posted April 23, 2005 I did FLL for a couple years back in elementary. It's harder than you'd think - and those judges are BRUTAL. Quote

xwingyoda Posted April 23, 2005 Author Posted April 23, 2005 Presenting Spidey 3 villain: mister_phes :-D Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 23, 2005 Governor Posted April 23, 2005 Spiderman? He's small time. His coverage is not pandemic. I'll delegatate some incompetent thug to take care of him who will no doubt fail like the others. Then I'll delegate another and another... Spiderman seems to have no shortage of enemies I've noticed so that will keep him distracted while I carry out my planning and scheming. He'll be none the wiser that I ever exist, as will all other super heros. I don't intend to forcefully take over you see... Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 23, 2005 Author Posted April 23, 2005 I don't intend to forcefully take over you see... That's reassuring :-D Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 23, 2005 Governor Posted April 23, 2005 It is to be done in such a way nobody is even aware that I'm doing it. "To pull the carpet out from beneath their feet" Quote
Darth_Ewok Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 Think... One day LEGO robots could rule the world! That would be pretty cool actually, maybe they will give us minifig packs... ;) Quote
