2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Cool model, well done!!! What do you need the set for, this is so much better I think... Quote
Technic-Kobaltz Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Very very nice and the use of red liftarms certainly make this model pop out and highlights its shape from the LBG structure. Love it. Quote

Very very nice and the use of red liftarms certainly make this model pop out and highlights its shape from the LBG structure. Love it. Cheers, I hadn't built anything red before so I thought I'd give it a go! Quote
TinkerBrick Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Ginormous. I could not spot a mechanism for slewing. Without slewing the whole machine would have to move back and forth in order to mine material from a slope. Quote

Without slewing the whole machine would have to move back and forth in order to mine material from a slope. Alas, you have found my biggest regret in the model! I would have loved to have slewing action but I was pushed for time. The major difficulties I encountered were the large weaknesses in the turntable joints. Thinking about it now, I could of had it pivot on a turntable and have weight bearing on a wheel system or slider surrounding the turntable. The undercarriage has a subtractor in it so I sacrificed speed and power for percussion on the spot turning. Quote
zweihander Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I wonder if its possible to add a heated middle section so it can continuously deliver pop-corn during movie time Quote
