grubaluk Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Hello! I am not sure, how well known Idefix, the dog/sidekick of Obelix (and Asterix), nowadays is. I always enjoyed his small reactions to the events in the single frames of the stories. Mixel joints and creator sets had a huge influence on my recent LEGO builds and this resulted to this nearly life size (whatever size he has, it is small) model of Idefix. Idefix 1 by grubaluk Building this was real fun, since I reviewed so many of the comic pictures for it. The eyes are set on turntable plates, so they normally look straight forward instead like the above picture. Idefix 4 by grubaluk I hope you enjoy it. Andreas Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Wow, I wouldn't have thought that it was possible to depict Idefix so well just based on bricks! Quote
Mr Greeble Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 (edited) Those books are so great. That's some fantastic shaping at such a small size! We call him Dogmatix over in America. Edited March 14, 2016 by Mr Greeble Quote

rodiziorobs Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 That is adorable! (and practically a scale replica!) Well done! Obelix: "That was me barking, woof woof!" Asterix: "All right, you idiot, let Dogmatix out of the bag...!" Quote
