MaasEffekt Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) Hello Eurobricks community! My name is Lazer, and i started playing with Lego around 1989, and i finished about ten years later. Me and my friends loved Lego very much at that time. Then a few years ago- maybe four- i bought a Collectible Minifigure because one of my friends was talking about them on Facebook so i wanted to check it out (it was the Grandma Visitor i believe). That is when all the insanity started again... But my taste in Lego is a little bit complicated... I define myself as a minifigure collector. I only collect minifigures i like, so i don't care about collecting them all, or collecting particular series. Just what i like. I would like to mention that normally i only like the minifig people with yellow skin. I found the "pink" skinned figures odd. But other colors are welcome (like monsters, witches and stuff). :) Usually i don't like these "modern" Lego sets. I think most of them is too "junior" like. I am not a big fan of vehicles neither, but i have a soft spot for buildings. But unfortunately most of the new structures are like a theatrical scenery. One wall and a few figures and that's it. Oh, and I don't like stickers, and rubber hair pieces in Lego sets. From the modern sets i think the modular houses are the best, but i do not own any of them. It is too expensive for me, and City is not my cup of tea anyway. Although i have a few Creator houses from the past years. I really would like to see more City sets which are not Police and Fire Stations. Civilian sets! Like in the Friends sets with all the little details and stuff. Those are cool! But the colors are not for me in that theme. However i like the Elves line with its colors! :) I am not a fan of the Lego dolls, but if the girls and others like it, i don't have a problem with that! I will stay with the minifigs. I don't create MOCs, but i enjoy watching your beautiful creations on this forum very much! I am trying to gather a Castle army right now (Dragon Kingdom based), and a Blacktron team. I like to create custom minifigs. I am a big fan of Fabuland figures, Technic figures, Ninjago Serpentine figures, DC Comics figures (because i liked the video game Lego Batman 3, and the animated movies, so i've started collecting the figures as well), Chima figures, and Lego animals. My favourite themes are Castle, Space, Western, and i admire the Adventurers theme but i don't have many because my Dark Age started around 1998- 99, exactly when that theme came in. I have the 5918 Scorpion Tracker, which is one of my favourite sets! When i was a child, i remember my favourites were the Pirates (theme). I mean the Red Coats. :) And the Black Knights! If i remember correctly my first ever Lego set was the 6034 Black Monarch's Ghost, and i wanted the 6086 Black Knight's Castle very very much. But still i don't have it.
