Devizz Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 (edited) All right guys, this is first time I ever attempted something like this. I was thinking what will the summer exclusive Ahsoka set be and immediately thought of Lothal Jedi Temple. Just imagine a set like that with the following mini figures: Rebels Ahsoka, Jedi Temple Guard, Grand Inquisitor in a Jedi Temple Guard armor, Seventh Sister, Ezra, Kanan. So far I only played around with the idea of how the main, upper gate of the temple could look like. What inspired me to even attempt this project is an idea about what they could do with the lothal jedi temple set: what if they somehow implemented a rotate technique and the temple itself could move up just like in the show. I am afraid though that my lego building knowledge is way beyond something like that so I am starting with something more simple. I will post more pics soon. If anyone wants to share his view of how this set could look you are more than welcome to join. :P EDIT 1: Edited March 4, 2016 by Devizz Quote
Smitty500 Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 The progress is looking really good, I am liking the inside. its simple enough with the details like a real set would be. I hope you plan on adding more rooms where Kanan, Ashoka and Ezra get seperated, because the Dojo room was the coolest thing in the episode. Unfortunately, I cannot see LEGO making a set based on one episode of Rebels, the only time LEGO seems to make location based sets are when they are featured in a movie. But never the less, Keep at it. Quote
jamie75 Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 For the front, I like 2. But, for the inside, I like a bit of both. Maybe try work aspects of both in. The tan base with gray paths under the pillars and gray slopes on the sides. With tan pillars and arches over head. I like it!! Keep up the great work and keep us posted. Do you plan on making it in real bricks. Jamie Quote
Ellisss_ Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Looking good so far. The interior is way to plain... I love the use of colours on the front, they blend really well! I would like to see it in flesh. Quote
Devizz Posted March 7, 2016 Author Posted March 7, 2016 (edited) To be honest this was my first project and after spending an hour or two on it I decided to drop it since I wasn't satisfied with the build at all. Instead I did the jedi temple dojo as my 2nd project: http://www.eurobrick...owtopic=122748. Lego ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/134374 Edited March 7, 2016 by Devizz Quote
