damjan97PL Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Hi Everyone.Today I want to present you a polish light truck, a FSC Żuk.The Żuk was produced between 1958 and 1998 by FSC. It was based on FSO Warszawa which in turn was a copy of a Soviet passenger car GAZ-M20.This is my Lego Technic version of this truck.Technical data:-Length: 40 cm-Height: 21 cm-Width: 18.5 cm-Weight: 1750gFunctions:-Driving-Steering wheel-Full suspension (Front-Independent/ Rear-LiveAxle)-Openable doors and rear flap-Fake 4 cylinders in line engine-Front lightsI will not write much about appearance, simple body block. Some elements aren't perfect, for example a rear ligths.Model is driven by a XL motor, and wheels are steering by M motor. The car has a details of interior like a seats, steering wheel and hand brake lever. My model is a little wider than a orginal car, it is caused by construction of front suspension.I look forward to your opinions.More photos: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=562720 Quote
zux Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Looks authentic and sounds almost like my nickname Did the original model have independent front suspension? Quote

pgplay Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Like I wrote on the LUGPol forum - it's great, brings back memories. Really love your work Quote
TinkerBrick Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) Fantastic work. It is always good to see MOC of machinery from different countries. Growing up in the GDR I don't recall having ever seen one. Just the Barcas B1000. Again, great design. The edges of the cabin roof capture the curves of the original very well. Leonardo da Bricki Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 That is one nice truck. Where did you buy the material for the rear cover, and what is it made from? Quote
Jurss Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 I saw it allready somewhere (Youtube?), and it's really good clone of original. Only color , i think almost all of them were some kind of brown from factory. Quote
Kiwi_Builder Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Very nice MOC! Just a couple of holes in the floor to watch the road through eh? Good job, it looks really good and functions well Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 As far as I can tell it looks pretty realistic...well done... Quote
