I don't have a grocery store in my Lego town and wanted to modify the Friend's supermarket. The grocery store is loosely based off of a small local independent grocer. I added the cupcake shop on the second floor since we all need to indulge sometimes, and its entrance is at the rear of the building. A few more photos are on my Flickr page. Comments always appreciated. Cheers!

Great build!

I think we can safely call this a MOC. It's inspired on those sets, but far more than just a modification.

I especially like the façade with the set-back doors and the interior of the supermarket.

How many sets did you use of both?

It also looks as if you needed a lot of extra parts. I see some Simpsons Quick-E-Mart pieces, too.

Keep clicking those bricks together.

Thanks everyone. I did not know whether to call this a MOD or an MOC because it uses mostly the Friends sets as the inspiration. I used 2 supermarket sets and only one cupcake set. The rest of the pieces came from my collection.
