Dzoni90 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) My creation for Kockice LUG competition based on Eugène Delacroix's picture. July Revolution, Liberty Leading the People by Nikola Đurić, on Flickr Edited February 26, 2016 by Dzoni90 Quote
Franco Clarke Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 A nice neat little moc, I especially like the roof you made for the house on the left Quote
BrickOn Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Such a well executed scene. I like the little details, like the smashed glass in the cabinet, you've built quite a picture :-) Quote
Staslegomaster Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 A well done historic scene reminding of the famous episode from "Les Miserable" with Hugh Jackman. Did the movie inspire you. Both the painter and the painting are famous, too. Keep on building. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Excellent build - starting with the phantastic houses and continuing to all the details in the scene! Quote
Dzoni90 Posted February 29, 2016 Author Posted February 29, 2016 Thank you all! @Staslegomaster, I didn't watch the movie, I want to read the book first, but I was inspired by the books of other French novelists where they describe July Revolution. Quote
iammac Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Two things I like about this MOC: 1) The use of a Lincoln Beard for the man flanking the flag bearer. 2) the expression of the soldier firing his weapon and feeling the pain of a dislocated hip simultaneously. Excellent build, friend! Quote
blackdeathgr Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Really nice moc that i totally missed! Great work Nikola! Quote
Captain Dee Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 This is an excellent depiction and is overflowing with activity. The two buildings are really nice and all the different minifig poses are great. The big pile of furniture blocking the street is a nice feature. The top hat/hairpiece is perfect for this build, but my favorite part has to be the skirts of the dress - that's a great way of using those jumper plate pieces to show movement. Excellent work. Quote
Gunman Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 I really like the pile of thrown furniture.. Beautiful moc there and nice buildings too! Quote
