FTG Prime Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) Hello everyone !! So i'm currently working on a BvS Batmobile and while working on the wheels i had a problem with the front ones to roll, as they were attached by a 1x2 jumper, however looking at some parts i came across the 2x2 tile with pin. So my question is... ¿How well does a wheel rolls on a 2x2 modified tile with pin ? And also how does the new Batmobile cockpit piece looks with a 6x6 dish on top ? Hope someone cam answer this Have a great day !! Edited February 26, 2016 by FTG Prime Quote
LiLmeFromDaFuture Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 So my question is... ¿How well does a wheel rolls on a 2x2 modified tile with pin ? It works like any Technic pin without friction ridges, so it will revolve pretty smoothly. This will help as long as there is not an excessive amount of weight on the wheels, which I believe that won't be a problem for a minifigure scale batmobile. Quote

So if it has a 37x18R tire should work just fine right ? Thanks BTW Quote
GallardoLU Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Might have a bit of resting camber on it, but give it a shove and it'll roll just fine. the only possible issue would be the tile staying on the (I assume) SNOT surface, there could be some decent torque pushing on that tile so during play the wheel may pop off but will be fine for display. Thanks BTW Well the thing I mentioned about weight is pretty irrelevant to your build since it is going to be light being minifigure scale, so I don't know why I added that… However, make sure that particular tire doesn't protrude over over the wheel, because in that case the modified tile with pin is pretty much useless. You can always experiment what you are intending to do with LDD Edited February 26, 2016 by LiLmeFromDaFuture Quote

Alright i'll keep that in mind Thanks !! Quote
