[MOC] 3,000+ piece Dog Mosaic

Here's a project I've been working on for some time... a 3 foot by 2.5 foot mosaic of my dog. I've included the DVM insignia in the bottom left. The mosaic is built from approximately 3,000+ pieces.

Unfortunately, it's too big to get a high quality picture, but here's what I was able to capture! If you want the best image interpretation, move back a bit from your computer screen.

Is he still alive or is this creation in place of experimental cloning?
