pichpich Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 (edited) Helle everyone, i'm happy to show you my first Modular building made with LDD (not extended) It'a a corner building inspired by ''the tempe bar'', an irish pub in Dublin. The pub got 2 floor with a small stage on the second one for some irish music (1850 pieces) As it's my first try, feel free to give some advice. Another one is coming, one floor pub with appartement above. Pich. Edited February 22, 2016 by pichpich Quote
Ron Dayes Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 a nice modular, whilst a bit "modern" or "plain" for an irish pub - it might be modern in real - but i would imagine one rather old and with a few more details outside in the wall structure. Maybe add a little more colours than just brown in the wall? Would improve the outside look in my opinion . The interiour is well done ! Quote
Dakar A Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 You definitely need to break up the brown- the official modulars tend to use light and dark bley striping, contrasting color striping, and detail bricks in order to do this. Quote
Actor Builder Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 It looks nice. A bit simple on the outside, but if you like it, keep it. You are your own target audience. Quote
pichpich Posted February 24, 2016 Author Posted February 24, 2016 Thanks all for your advice, i LL go back to work for the outside now. Quote
gotoAndLego Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) Modulars usually offset the windows and doors half a stud using jumper plates. Interior looks great, but the exterior is a bit too simple. The bar shouldn't blend in with the wall color. Edited February 26, 2016 by gotoAndLego Quote
