DragonTime64 Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 My name is DragonTime, and I don't quite qualify as an Adult Fan of LEGO; I am 14. All the same, I find myself to be a major fan of the world-renowned interlocking-brick system. I think I ahve been for most of my life - it caters perfectly to my obsessive-compulsive tendencies. I am, however relatively new to this forum (and internet forums in general). Quote
hadidi1999 Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Well no one said you have to be an AFOL. I am not, and I don't feel really in the wrong place. 14 is a really good age. Quote
Hinckley Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Guys, please read the Site Guidelines concerning required age to join. Obviously we don't enforce the age limit but we do enforce the maturity level. Please don't post blatantly disregarding our Guidelines. Thank you. Quote
hadidi1999 Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Mr. Hinckley, it is a complement, you and the other adminsterators and moderators are doing such a great job at moderating, that it a rather safe environment for a 14 year old. Of course we will always keep in mind that this is a forum designed for AFOL's and that we should always be aware. Right, DragonTime64. Quote
Capn Frank Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 that it a rather safe environment for a 14 year old. It does not matter how safe this site makes kids feel. This site is intended for adults, not kids. Adult guidelines state that those who post that they're under-aged are subject to immediate ban. Any known kid that can't be mature or breaks Site Guidelines is banned, period. I don't mean to sound heavy-handed, but everything I've said is true, and it seams that this topic is encouraging people to join who are under-aged. Quote
