Distorted Vision Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 I was wondering why Amazon UK doesn't stock the big Lego sets. I checked and saw that Amazon UK itself does not sell any of the Star Wars UCS eg Slave 1, Tie Figher etc. Also that it doesn't sell things like Tower Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Ferris Wheel etc. Is there some particular reason for Amazon not selling the big sets in the UK? MAB Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Lego gives (sells) exclusive distribution rights to different stores in different countries. Quote
THERIZE Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Are you sure about that? A local toy store where I live has selled all those big exclusive sets like the Tower bridge, Taj Mahal and the Emerald Night. Quote
EdmanZA Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 They do sell the big Technic sets, but I've also noticed that Star Wars UCS sets don't appear there. Quote
Forresto Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Shipping costs and overages I imagine. Quote
