New 2x3 Curved Slope (24309)

I see this new part from 2016 sets is already on BrickLink.

Is anyone able to save me some investigation time and tell me what colours we will be seeing this part released in this year? More specifically, do any known 2016 sets appear to have this part in DBG?

I can't answer your questions, but since I've been building cars lately, I love having another studless curved slope option!

I could be wrong, but based on Toy Fair pics it looks like this new slope in DBG will be in the 60122 Volcano Crawler, 60124 Volcano Exploration Base, and 76051 Captain America set. The latter set also appears to contain the piece in dark blue.

Isn't it just a compound of the 1x3 slope?

I'm not saying it's useless, but there are so many more useful parts that Lego could make.

Bricklink has this part listed in black colour, too.

It seems to be used in the Speed Champions Audi R8 (75873) as part of the front "bumper".

By the way, does anyone have a picture of the underside of these parts?

It would be interesting to see if they can be positionened with a haf stud offset just like the slim ones.

I'm not saying it's useless, but there are so many more useful parts that Lego could make.

They just look like "double 1x3x1" curved slopes, so I'd like to use them here and there to replace a pair of 1x3x1 curved slopes.

I think they will really help to get a more seamlesss look on many models.

The underside is like a normal 2x2 plate for the lower part and a 1x2 plate for the upper part.
