Hmmm... too bad I don't have a Maze set. Maybe if you did it, it could just be 'make a map on a 32x32 baseplate"

I was thinking that, except that I believe in order to fit the frame of the set, the maze layout (the part you actually drop into or lift out of the frame) has to be 24x24. The set does use a 32x32 baseplate, but some of that is taken up by the outer and inner frames, the mechanism, etc.

Anyway. I'll confess I've also been hoping there'd be a Eurobricks contest for maze designs.

Wait, so the actual inside map is 24x24? Ok, didn't know that - again, I don't own the set

But yeah, a contest would be cool.

Ended up with this set as an exhibitor gift at the BrisBricks Strathpine event and finished putting it together earlier. Its not a set I would have purchased or was particularly keen on but now that I have it, I really like it. Some great parts in there too (the 8x16 plates in black in particular are going to be very useful to me). Its surprisingly fun to play with as well.
