The title:

Playmobil: Robbers, Thieves & Rebels

The film is projected at $75 million, and the director will be Lino di Salvo, head of animation for the film Frozen, as an ON Entertainment production to be released in France. While the title is pretty self-explanatory, I'm not sure how they're gonna execute it, especially with descriptors of bad guys on the title. Caper story, most probably, but how can they pull it off?

It's a domestic release (France), though if it gets around they can take it worldwide afterward.

Ahh, so if it ends up not being successful the rest of the world may never see it.

It's kinda weird, as I can't find any other news sites reporting on this, but this Daily Mail article says Daniel Radcliffe (a.k.a. Harry Potter) will be staring in this Playmobil cinematic movie.

Daily Mail - GIRL ABOUT TOWN: Harry Potter Star Daniel Radcliffe Agrees to Role in a New Film... About Children's Toys Playmobil

Quote

Since the final Harry Potter film in 2011, Daniel Radcliffe has tried to carve out a career as a ‘serious’ actor.

But will his latest role put him back to square one? Daniel, 28, has agreed to star in a children’s movie based around children’s toy Playmobil.

The filmmakers must be hoping Daniel can bring his magic touch to the plastic characters of Playmobil and there is undoubtedly a large cheque involved.

It couldn’t be more different from Daniel’s 2013 film Horns, in which he played a suspected rapist.

This isn't a joke by any chance is it?
