Hygrotus Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Hi Today another review of small polybag set. It is a 2016 Star Wars polybag mini model representing new First Order Star Destroyer First a few official information 30277 First Order Star Destroyer Year: 2016 Number of parts: 56 Minifgures: 0 Price: promotional item This is currently the rarest SW polybag from three released this year so far. Its availability is unknown, you can only find it on internet auction now. THE POLYBAG Standard polybag packing, showing on front Destroyer in action. Front IMG_0293 by Marek, on Flickr Back IMG_0294 by Marek, on Flickr CONTENT Inside we have pile of mainly plates and wedge plates (56 parts plus 6 extra) and the instruction. IMG_0295 by Marek, on Flickr Instruction Comes folded as in others polybag sets. IMG_0708 by Marek, on Flickr Parts Not so diverse in colors. Mainly black and both shades of gray plus some trans yellow and trans light blue. All part are common, there is no rare or interesting part in this polybag. IMG_0296 by Marek, on Flickr THE COMPLETE MODEL So here we have the new First Order Star Destroyer. New construction in Destroyers family: Resurgent-class Star Destroyer. This monster is much bigger than old Imperial class, it’s almost 3km long (2915.81 m exactly). http://starwars.wiki..._Star_Destroyer But this one is small, very small representation of it. As a promotional item and a polybag set it is quite nice. I hope that this is a preview of large scale model because all others mini polybag sets have their representation as normal sets. This is the only one now without larger equivalent. SUPLEMET Let’s see evolution of star destroyers in the form of LEGO mini models. IMG_0719 by Marek, on Flickr IMG_0722 by Marek, on Flickr Here we have Ventator-class represented by Brickmaster polybag 20007 and polybag 30053, Imperial-class represented by mini set 4492 and polybag 30056, Resurgent-class represented by polybag 30277. Brickmaster polybag and 4492 are bigger than modern polybag versions, although they are also mini models. So let see only modern polybag destroyers side by side.
