kylosuperfan Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) Hello all! For my second post on this lovely snow day, I'd like to share my modification of TLGs Rey's Speeder. The set wasn't quite doing it for me, so I made it a bit sleeker and I think it ended up looking a bit more screen accurate. Let me know what you think! As always, critiques are greatly appreciated. rey2 by w_g_west, on Flickr rey1 by w_g_west, on Flickr rey5 by w_g_west, on Flickr rey4 by w_g_west, on Flickr rey3 by w_g_west, on Flickr Edited January 20, 2016 by kylosuperfan Quote
KCMatze Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) That net! The official version is really lacking this key element from her speeder. Nice adaptation, really like it! Edit: maybe embed pics to get people to see it easier! Edited January 20, 2016 by KCMatze Quote

MartinCliffe Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Reminds me I've been meaning to use my spare net from the Ewok village on my Rey's Speeder set for a while. Thanks for the inspiration to get on with it :) Quote
Junior Shark Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Man, have I been procrastinating my MOD of Rey's Speeder... This is awesome! The net really takes it over the top! Quote

Reminds me I've been meaning to use my spare net from the Ewok village on my Rey's Speeder set for a while. Thanks for the inspiration to get on with it :) Love the net, really makes it look authentic The net was actually one of the simplest parts of the mod! I'm pretty sure I had it left over from an old Ewok set, and I basically attached it on the backside of the panel with a 1x3 flat. Luckily, the panel has enough room on the bottom for the net to poke out while still closing, so all you have to do is make room on the inside for the flat so the panel close. This is easily done by getting rid of some of the obligatory structuring inside the speeder. Good luck everyone! Quote
