Hello all!

I’ve decided to create this model less than two weeks ago. I was inspired by trans-orange parts from the 70317 Nexo Knights set and my model is stylized as old very cool series of 1993 year – Ice Planet.

The model is 73 cm long. The functions: moving (three buggy-motors powered with two S-Bricks), steering (two M-motors, articulated chassis), suspension (15 supporting sprockets) and plasma accelerators.

Video demonstration:

To say the truth the external design was my main target so let’s take a look at the photos:

Thanks for watching! I hope you like it. What do you think – is it really Ice Planet style?

PS: Unfortunately I have no Space sets of 1993 year.

This is awesome! I just love how it looks, its speed and the overall concept is cool :)

But what intrigues me the most is the steering, it seems sturdy and fast, can you please share how it's made?

Thanks for comments!

Some fragments with working steering mechanism are speeded up. I use two large actuators directly connected to M-motors.

PS: moving scenes are at the actual speed.

"Ice Planet Elephant Transporter"

But.... where's the elephant?

It is surprisingly fast for a large vehicle especially on snow. Your suspension setup seems to be very effective

There may be an elephant in the room, but this is the coolest tracked vehicle I've seen in a long time. And the fastest. Plasma accelerators FTW!

Thanks a lot!

Where do you get all your parts? I didn't think that anyone could have all those white and blue technic piecses

bricklink and one more internet-shop in Russia

Very nice :)

Would really like to know how you build the tail lights. What did you use as a center piece to get all the small satellite dishes to face bottom out?

[EDIT]

SOLVED IT! :)
